Hansel and Gretel are the children of a poor woodcutter. When a famine settles over the land, the woodcutter's wife decides to take the children into the woods and leaves them there to fend for themselves so she and her husband will not starve to death.
Alone, the children stumble upon a house made of candy and sweets. Much to their dismay a witch lives in this house of confections. The adventure is just beginning as the kids plot their escape!
