Movie Prices for B-Rec Members.

Like all movie theaters, Sipe Center shows films under contracts negotiated with the various movie studios. Each studio has a different set of requirements and a different pricing structure.

As we navigate through the contractual requirements and set our own ticket prices, we have two guiding principles. We want ticket prices to be fair for everyone, and we want to treat our B-Rec cardholders extremely well. We can't make every showing free for B-REC members, though, because the studios simply make us buy a ticket for anyone we admit free. Doing that would bust our budget.

Whenever we can, though, we will make at least one showing of every film free for B-Rec members. Maybe we can discount some B-Rec showings also. So be sure to check the pricing for the particular showing you will be attending.

Flex Pass Sales Shatter Projections!

Well...we wanted to begin selling tickets gradually. That way we could ensure that our processes were robust before subjecting them to heavy demand. So, on August 1, we simply began selling our five-show Flex Passes, thinking that we might sell a few dozen over a two-week period.

Instead, our office was filled with people all morning, and our online system was taxed also. So much for our gradual start! At the end our first day we had sold over 110! Tickets to all shows remain available, although a few performances are starting to fill up.

How can I redeem my Flex Pass?

The Virginia Repertory Theatre presents ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

At turns heart warming and hilarious, this charming Christmas musical is complete with a jolly Santa, reindeer on the roof, moonlight on the snow, Ma and Pa in their caps, and sugarplums dancing in the dreams of hopeful children. Our careworn poet, Clement Moore is struggling to write a Christmas poem.
Clement, uninspired until his eyes and heart are opened by the loving, joyous images all about him inhis own home and family, begins writing his immortal poem with these words, “’Twas the night before Christmas.” His poem is a delight to his family and to many generations of families who can’t imagine Christmas without “A Visit from St. Nicholas.”
