FREE Acting Workshops!
Sipe Center invites you to a series of FREE theatre workshops geared toward adults in our community.
Whether you have been on stage before or are new to performing, these sessions will cover the basics of acting, from developing character, working with a script, teambuilding, improvisation, and vocal performance. Whatever your level of experience- these workshops are designed to build skills and confidence from the ground up.
Pre-registration is highly encouraged.

Sign up for ACTING 2.0 WORKSHOPS
Workshops are led by Rhys McClelland. When based in the UK, Rhys worked as a Director and Educator for some of the largest producing houses in the country including the Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre. From 2014 - 2021 Rhys was based in New York where he acted as Assistant Artistic Director for the Planet Connections Theatre Festival, Youth Theatre Director for the Shakespeare Forum and Education Director for both the Shakespeare Society and The Public Theater.
Acting Workshops
Gain a deeper understanding of acting techniques. We will be reading scripts, learning text work, and getting participants up on stage with scenes!
Workshops will take place June 20th & June 27th (7pm-9pm both days).
These Acting 2.0 workshops will be built off of one another, so it is expected that participants can come to BOTH days. Special Events Acting Workshops

The space is open to those interested in building community theatre; with the potential of a formal theatre company to form.
Come as you are! This is open practice time for each individual to work on what THEY want. Do you have a play you want to read? Bring it! Do you want to practice your audition more? Feel free to!
This time is for the town community to get together and cheer each other on through their art.
